Fender Silverface Deluxe Reverb – Speaker Comparison (Jensen C12N vs. Vintage Oxford)

This is a comparison of two different 12″ speakers which have been (one by one) built into the same Fender Silverface Deluxe Reverb amp.
The first one is a Jensen C12 N Ceramic (current model).
The second one is a Vintage Oxford speaker.
Because I am the DelayDude, I do (self-evident) use a delay for this comparison.

Jazzmaster mit P90, Strymon DIG, Silverface Deluxe Reverb, Fame SC1100 Condenser Microphone, TS202 preamp, EMU 1820M, Cubase.

Fender Tweed Amp Sound Comparison – Princeton vs. Champ

This is a comparison of the sound of a Fender Tweed Champ with the sound of a Fender Tweed Princeton.

In the first part of the comparison I use a Fender Telecaster and in the second part a Gibson Les Paul.

The Amps I am using for this comparison are clones with the original circuit of the respective amp.

Fender Reverb Amp: Hum-elimination

My Silverface Fender Princeton Reverb was humming as soon as I turned on the Reverb. I could exclude numerous sources of error. Then I found out, that the mass-copperplate did not have sufficient contact to the chassis. By tightening the nut of the input I could eliminate this fault. This is the video:

Amp Comparison: Vox lil´ Night Train vs AC15

For this video I recorded one song with the Vox lil´ Night Train as well as the AC15. Both amplifiers have been recorded by the same speaker  (Celestion G12M Greenback).

The lil´ Night Train is a really good recording amp that creates the typical Vox sound.
