We got our YouTube channel back

With a little help from my friends… or with much help from people I partly didn’t even know before, we succeed in recovering our channel “delay dude”!

We want to thank everyone, who supported us.

But our very special thanks go to Philipp Ernst (Bonedo), who was so kind to spend hours to get in contact with the YouTube support. He was the guy who did all the bureaucratic paperwork with us.

We also want to thank Frank Prager. Without your mail and your comments, we wouldn’t even have started the fight.

And special thanks to Eirik (Living Room Gear Demos), Peter Grandl (Amazona), BoBeats, Hainbach and many, many more!

We are so grateful, because this channel means so much to us and so much to my beloved father, who is fighting the cancer and who must endure so many cruel operations these days.

Thank you all so much!

Strymon Volante vs. Catalinbread Echorec

This is a comparison of the Strymon Volante with the Catalinbread Echorec.
Both delay pedals emulate the sound of the legendary Binson Echorec- a magnetic drum delay. Concerning the categorization of delay pedals, guitarists mostly refer to analog delays, tape delays and digital delay pedals. But this true classic is often overlooked because it is pretty rare and only available in used condition.

Delay Dude Clutch momentary bypass looper feat. EHX Deluxe Memory Man

In this video I would like to present the Delay Dude Clutch.
The first Delay Dude pedal is a momentary bypass looper which enables the user to add delay pedals (in this case the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man) constantly or temporarily to the effect chain while allowing the trails to fade out after switching off the looper.

gear: Fender Telecaster, Fender Tweed Champ, Celestion G12M, Shure SM57, Cubase.

The Delay Dude Clutch Momentary Bypass Looper

Clutch 5Delay pedals are an absolutely great invention and in essence I wish to never turn them off.
But sometimes you can emphasize the delay effect by a calculated activating and deactivating.
The only annoying fact about delay pedals that lack a trails function, is, that they fall silent in the moment they are switched off.
This is where the Delay Dude Clutch Momentary Bypass Looper will help restore the affection felt for the gorgeous delay pedals without a trails function. Continue reading “The Delay Dude Clutch Momentary Bypass Looper”
