Chase Bliss Onward – a sonic paradise in a pedal

The Chase Bliss Onward is a very special kind of glitch and ambient effects pedal. It was presented for the first time at this year’s Superbooth and the idea and sounds immediately appealed to me.

An absolute recommendation for fans of unusual glitch and freeze sounds. The Onward is more than the sum of the two effects. The interaction and the crazy error effects work differently depending on the sample size and always deliver new sounds. With the numerous hidden features, the effect pedal can be perfectly adapted to your own playing.

Review: Chase Bliss Onward, effect pedal

Chase bliss onward reviewThe Chase Bliss Onward is a very special kind of glitch and ambient effects pedal. It was presented for the first time at this year’s Superbooth and the idea and sounds immediately appealed to me.

Chase Bliss Mood MK II Demo Video

The Chase Bliss Mood MK II is ambient music in a pedal. Far away from the “happy accidents” that are hyped in many forums, you can learn to understand this pedal and thus create sounds that can become the soundtrack of your life or of a great movie. Of course you can also use the pedal as a reverb, MIDI synchronized delay or reverse pitch delay, but the Mood MK II can do so much more. It wants to play with sounds, alienate them and discover new worlds of sound. No matter whether with the guitar or the synthesizer, the sound is always marvellous and spherical. Compared to its predecessor, the MK I, the Chase Bliss Mood MK II has some features and sound options that definitely justify switching to the recent version.

So, go on a sound journey!

7 questions to Yukihiro Hayashi (Free The Tone)

Yuki Free The Tone InterviewIn my opinion, the Free The Tone Future Factory FF-1Y is a great pedal and because I’m always interested in who are the creative people behind the devices that I like so much, I asked Yukihiro Hayashi 7 questions. How did he become the owner and president of Free The Tone, which pedal from another manufacturer he wished he had invented, and what if things had turned out completely differently? The friendly Yuki gives us answers to these and other questions in our interview. Continue reading “7 questions to Yukihiro Hayashi (Free The Tone)”

7 questions to David Packouz (Singular Sound)

7 questions toDavid Packouz is the man behind the great Aeros Loop Studio, the BeatBuddy and the MIDI Maestro and the founder of Singular Sound. I am very pleased that the American has given up the arms trade and is now concentrating entirely on his passion, music. But we didn’t talk about weapons and so David told me which pedal he would choose if he was only allowed to use one device for the rest of his life, what he might have done differently in retrospect and, above all, which question, which he finally wants to answer, but which no one has ever asked him before. JHS Pedals Panther Cub

This is a demo of the @JHS Pedals Panther Cub.
It is such a nice analog dark delay with modulation and tap tempo.
In contrast to many other analog delay pedals the Cub offers the possibility to pitch the signal by variing the tap devider by hand.
What a pity that JHS discontinued the production…
