Chase Bliss Onward – a sonic paradise in a pedal

The Chase Bliss Onward is a very special kind of glitch and ambient effects pedal. It was presented for the first time at this year’s Superbooth and the idea and sounds immediately appealed to me.

An absolute recommendation for fans of unusual glitch and freeze sounds. The Onward is more than the sum of the two effects. The interaction and the crazy error effects work differently depending on the sample size and always deliver new sounds. With the numerous hidden features, the effect pedal can be perfectly adapted to your own playing.

Polyend Tracker – guitar samples

The Polyend Tracker is a great standalone workstation. Whether as a sampler, step sequencer or arranger – with this device you can conjure up entire songs in no time. These are the sounds for the DelayDude review of the absolutely great Polyend Tracker. The device is perfect for creating songs in the studio, on the sofa at home or even on the go.

In this demo I loaded a few guitar samples into the excellent Polyend Tracker and created a wonderful soundscape for quiet hours.

Roland SP-404MKII with guitar – hands-on workshop

During the breaks in playing, a slight hiss can be heard. This is because I used the compressor of the Roland SP-404MKII, switched off the noise gate to avoid choppy guitar tones and missed to turn up the master volume a bit. With the correct settings, you can reduce the hissing in the periods you are not playing/ recording, which of course can no longer be heard in the finished song. Since I first have to get used to this super extensive device, I’ve already made this mistake for you so that you don’t have to make it yourself 😉
