In this video I want to show you how to combine a synthesizer like the Arturia MicroFreak with delay effect pedals for guitars as a little suggestion for sound experiments. This synthesis opens up completely new worlds of sound and can definitely expand the sonical horizon. Have fun trying.

Boss DD-7 vs. Strymon DIG – Digital Delay Comparison

This is a Comparison of the Boss DD-7 with the Strymon DIG.

In this video I only used the digital mode of the Boss DD-7, because the Strymon DIG does not offer an analog delay mode.
At the end of the video I demonstrate how either of them will sound in the mix.

The second one is a Vintage Oxford speaker.

This is a comparison of the Strymon DIG with the Boss DD-2.

While the Strymon DIG currently is the most modern digital delay, the legendary Boss DD-2 was one of the first.
