\"\"<\/a>This year\u2019s Superbooth<\/a> was a complete success and there were numerous live acts, vintage gear, VIPs and several launches.
\nSunny days at the FEZ in Berlin: The Superbooth inside of the building, partly in tends and outside area, sprayed some kind of the character of a festival. And the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant.
\nOnce again, it was great fun to listen to one of the numerous concerts like Obertonstruktur der Kaulquappe<\/a>, product demonstrations of Oberheim<\/a> or a live performance with the prehistoric bedrock of synthesizers, the Trautonium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There have also been launches of several new products and one got the chance to try them out for the first time.<\/p>\n

This year, even Elektron<\/a> was there to present the new Syntakt.
\nPolyend <\/a>published the Play, while Teenage Engineering introduced the OP-1 Field as well as the TX-6.<\/p>\n

And the Korg<\/a> Volca FM2 was ready to rumble, just like the improved version of the Gamechanger Audio<\/a> Motorsynth and numerous modular devices.<\/p>\n

The stand of Moog<\/a> was, just like always, one of the optical highlights of the exhibition and created its very own universe.<\/p>\n

One of my personal highlights was the presentation of the Dirtywave<\/a> M8 and the extended gear talk with Sky<\/a> and Tim. In spite of a really bad jetlag, they presented their little tracker with so much passion and joy, that I can\u2019t wait to receive my very own unit in September. This tiny wonder contains a whole universe of music and might be more potent than many a big device.<\/p>\n

Also impressing was the Arturia<\/a> Tour bus that invited to try out all models of the manufacturer. Right next to Arturia there was the Camp of the guys of Teenage Engineering<\/a>.
\nAnd the Rhodes also was a real candy for your eyes and ears.<\/p>\n

Akai<\/a> gave a sneak preview of the next MPC 2.11 firmware update, which offers serval new effects and an improved menu navigation.<\/p>\n

Besides the numerous product presentations, music, food and drinks, there was also enough space to talk to old and new friends. I really enjoyed a lot, meeting Bobeats<\/a> again. Last year we talked about all the world and his wife and this year, I truly was pleased that he gave to me one of the copies of Oli Freke\u2019s \u201cSynthesizer Evolution\u201d.<\/p>\n

But numerous other YouTubers like Cuckoo<\/a>, Dave Mech<\/a>, Stimming<\/a>, Hainbach<\/a> and the guys of Sonicstate <\/a>were always in the mood for some chatting.<\/p>\n

Besides all these highlights I would also like to mention, that the whole organization team did a great job. With their positive vibes and their smiles, they sweetened the three days in the FEZ even more.
