\"Donner<\/a>The Donner ONE looper comes around in a very robust white aluminum enclosure which is extremely compact. Nevertheless, it provides enough weight for a stable standing on the pedalboard. The rubber coating on the bottom additionally ensures that the ONE will remain on its place.
\nThe box is not much larger that the pedal itself and the included short manual has a clear layout and is pretty comprehensible.<\/p>\n

But this tiny pedal should not be underestimated, thus you ought to keep in mind the story of David and Goliath.<\/p>\n

The outer appearance<\/h3>\n

The outer appearance of the ONE is kept quite simple. The looper has an input and an output which are both located at the sides of the pedal.
\nOn the front, you can find the jack of the 9V 500mA input. Like all pedals of this size, the ONE runs on power supply only.
\nThe looper, furthermore has one pot to control the volume of the loop and one footswitch.
\nA bright LED facilitates the handling by displaying the respective status of the loop.<\/p>\n

The functions<\/h3>\n

The true bypass switch is pretty robust and has a nice feeling. Thus, it is quite easy to recognize if the switch has been activated. Even acoustic players would accept the slight \u201cclick\u201d that results when you activate the switch.
\nBy activating the switch, you can record a loop.
\nThe maximum length of one loop is about 10 minutes (that\u2019s the information, you can find on the homepage; in the manual the maximum length is specified with 30 minutes).
\nFor the pedal saves the loop even if it has been switched off and disconnected from the power supply, you can store a whole song as musical accompaniment that can be re-played later again.<\/p>\n

After recording a loop, you can also record an overdub by activating the footswitch once again. By keeping the switch pressed, the overdub can be deleted (undo function).
\nIn the case of an unintentional deleting of the overdub, you can recover the latest overdub by keeping the switch pressed once again (redo- function).
\nThus, you can add or remove elements like increases to the song.
\nDouble tapping of the switch stops the loop and by keeping the switch pressed by now, you can delete the whole loop.<\/p>\n

Handling<\/h3>\n

It is very convenient that the whole pedal can be controlled via the footswitch. The bright LED displays the respective status in different colors. Thus, you get to know if you are recording a loop or an overdub.<\/p>\n

The level pot of the looper is very small, so that it can hardly be shifted unintentionally. The tiny transparent plastic coating facilitates the control of the pot by foot. It is only attached and can be removed quite easily.<\/p>\n

I was not able to figure out the recording resolution of the looper, but the sonic quality is extraordinary.
\nThe handling of the pedal is intuitional and even on a stuffed pedalboard, you will find a nice spot for the ONE.<\/p>\n

Recording short loops and short granular delays in the style of Minus the Bear or recording accompanying melodies makes so much fun.
\nThus, you can use the ONE as an effect pedal as well.<\/p>\n

Even if you already have a looper on your pedalboard, the compact ONE is very suitable as a nice add-on and working with it is simply fun!<\/p>\n

At the moment, the Donner<\/a> looper costs 45,99\u20ac and with the recent discount code (as of August 2022), you can get the ONE for at least 40,48\u20ac.
\nThis price is unbeatable and I guess, you should not think about the question if this pedal is worth it, but about the question why you should not get two of it.
\nThey can be used every day and even as a twin pack, the ONE needs little space on your pedalboard.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
