\nHow did you get into music?<\/p>\n
\nMusic has been my best friend since childhood, when I began listening to tapes that my father recorded from radio. I’m very sensitive to the world of sound.<\/p>\n
\nAnd how did you come to found SOMA Laboratory in 2016?<\/p>\n
\nIt was unexpected. I had built self-made synths for my own musical project and created several demos. This led to a huge amount of worldwide interest in my developments.<\/p>\n
\nSo many famous musicians are using your devices – is there someone whom you wish he\/she would play one of your devices?<\/p>\n
\nArca, Yasutaka Nakata, Keiji Haino, Snowthaproduct, \u041d\u0438\u043d\u0430 \u041f\u043e\u0442\u0435\u0445\u0438\u043d\u0430, Bjork and many others, who push music forward.<\/p>\n
\nIf you would have to choose one single device, you will have to use for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?<\/p>\n
\nMy personal brain.<\/p>\n
\nIs there a device of another manufacturer of which you wish, you would have invented it?<\/p>\n
\nTheremin<\/p>\n
\nWhat does your recent rig look like?<\/p>\n
\nMostly as empty shelves. I’m not a collector. I have lovely old synths from my youth that I consider my lifetime friends and generally that’s all.<\/p>\n
