The stomptrap offers the possibility to attach effect pedals to the pedalboard as well as, to change the pedals quick and easily without any adhesive residues.
Delivered in a box the stomptrap is accompanied by a manual, Velcro and tiny rubber feet.
The optical impression indicates a long-lasting high-quality product.
An extended bottom and the weight of the stainless-steel give a certain stability to the mini pedal – even without an attachment to the pedalboard. Loaded with an effect pedal, the stomptrap is optically decent palpable.
Attachment
There are two ways to attach the stomptrap to your pedalboard: you can either use the supplied Velcro. Many boards are already equipped with the according counterparts thus the stomptrap can be attached quick and easily. By lateral pressing the stomptrap can be detached quite simply.
If you want to attach the stomptrap permanently, you can use the two little holes at the bottom of the stomptrap to fasten it on the pedalboard. Pretty nice: you can countersink the screws completely. This also avoids any scratches on the pedal.
Now you can clamp the pedal inside the stomptrap. The rubber coated holders grab the pedal powerful – even while the board is moved from A to B and, at the same time, prevent the pedal from damage by the holders.
The position of the holders has been elected quite smart, therefor they did not block any jacks of the mini pedals I used the stomptrap for.
Space on the pedalboard
Although the bottom of the stomptrap is a bit wider than the according effect pedal, the pedal-attachment-device does not need more space than the pedal with low-profile angle plugs.
The cutaways of the bottom allow to lead the cables through – by this, the pedalboard stays quite tidied up. And, if you use several stomptraps at the same time, you can arrange them staggered.
So far, the stomptrap is only available for mini pedals but soon, there should be new stomptraps for bigger pedals.

The stomptrap is a high-quality product and might be the perfect solution for many guitarists, to attach the pedals solid and save to the pedalboard without damaging the beloved stompboxes.
