Fender Tweed Amp Sound Comparison – Princeton vs. Champ

This is a comparison of the sound of a Fender Tweed Champ with the sound of a Fender Tweed Princeton.

In the first part of the comparison I use a Fender Telecaster and in the second part a Gibson Les Paul.

The Amps I am using for this comparison are clones with the original circuit of the respective amp.

amp vergleichThe sound of a tube amplifier pushed into saturation is unique. And although sometimes I play clean, my favorite amp-sound is never totally clean. I adjusted the amp in a way that it shows soft colorations and starts to compress when I dig in harder.
